Russia attaches anti-tank mine cassettes to “shaheeds”: National Police

In the Sumy region, a downed enemy attack drone was found, under the wings of which were fixed cassette containers with PTM-3 anti-tank mines. About this reported National Police.
The use of such drones allows the Russian military to mine roads, fields and other territories remotely. The PTM-3 anti-tank mine has small dimensions, a plastic case and is equipped with a magnetic detonator that reacts to the approach or movement of nearby equipment.
Law enforcement officers urged citizens to be more careful, in particular, drivers of agricultural machinery and other vehicles moving on country roads. The police emphasize that the visibility of such paths may be limited due to dense vegetation.
In case of visual detection of suspicious objects, it is necessary:
- stop the transport immediately;
- move to a safe distance;
- call the police on 102.
The department added that this also applies to enemy drones that did not explode during the fall. Inside such devices, in addition to the combat part, there may be hidden mine traps or sensors capable of provoking an explosion when trying to approach or intervene.
