Russia attacked a Ukrainian military training center with missiles: there are dead and wounded

The Army of the Russian Federation launched a missile attack on the territory of one of the training units of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a result of the attack, three people were killed and 18 others were injured. About this reported in the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Appropriate emergency services are on site, the victims are provided with the necessary medical assistance.

“To find out all the circumstances and reasons for the loss of personnel, a commission headed by the head of the Military Law and Order Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was created and an official investigation was appointed.” – says the message.

The department emphasized that if it is discovered that the “actions or inaction of officials” led to the death or injury of servicemen, those responsible will be brought to justice.

“The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ground Forces takes additional security measures to preserve the lives and health of servicemen during missile and air strikes by the aggressor on training grounds and training centers.” — emphasized in the Ground Forces.

We will remind you that a similar event took place on June 1, when Russian troops launched a missile attack on the location of one of the training units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region. At that time, 12 dead and more than 60 wounded Ukrainian servicemen were reported. A commission was created to find out the causes and circumstances of the losses and an official investigation was appointed.

Against the background of those events, the then commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Major General Mykhailo Drapaty, announced the decision to submit a report on his resignation from his post, calling it a “conscious step” made out of a “sense of responsibility” after the attack by the Russian army.
