The Russian army massively attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles: explosions rang out in a number of regions
On the night of September 3, Russian troops carried out a combined air attack against Ukraine, using a large number of “Shakheds” and cruise missiles. The strikes were carried out in several regions of the country, report the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Explosions on the night of September 3 were heard in Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Volyn, Lviv, Sumy, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Rivne, Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.
In the Desnyan district of the capital of Ukraine, the fall of a drone was recorded, but without ignition or destruction. In Vyshhorod, Kyiv region, debris from a downed aerial target caused a fire between high-rise buildings, cars and windows of houses were damaged, informed the head of OVA Mykola Kalashnyk.
In the Kirovohrad region, Russian drones attacked the Znamyansk community, in particular, Ukrzaliznytsia facilities. 17 residential buildings were damaged, one of them was completely destroyed. There are victims. This was reported by the head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration Andriy Raykovich. According to him, five people were injured, they are receiving medical assistance, and “people’s lives are not in danger”.
In Ukrzaliznytsia specified that four employees of the enterprise are among the injured. All of them are hospitalized, doctors assess their condition as satisfactory. Due to the attack, the electricity supply was cut off in the community. Energy crews immediately began restoration work, and already at 03:13 the surrounding settlements were connected to the power grid. Rescue workers, doctors, police and psychologists are working on the spot. The territory continues to be surveyed. The air alert in the region lasted from 21:01 to 02:24.
On the night of September 3 in Khmelnytskyi region, during an air raid alert, local residents heard explosions.
Khmelnytskyi Mayor Oleksandr Symchyshyn reported that as a result of the attack damage and fires were recorded:
“Unfortunately, as a result of the terrorist attack, there is damage and fire. Rescue workers are already eliminating the consequences. There are also damaged windows in the houses. There is currently no information about the injured or the dead. More details later”.
In Lutsk, garages and a truck burned down, debris damaged an outbuilding, reported Mayor Ihor Polishchuk:
“From the destruction of civil infrastructure, as of this moment: 2 garages and an outbuilding were on fire, another outbuilding was damaged by debris. A private truck was completely burnt out.
