In the afternoon of September 16, Kharkiv was attacked by Shahedov, Slobid district was hit. According to preliminary data, 4 people were injured. Mayor Igor Terekhov reported this
“This is a building located almost in the central part. This is an educational institution. This is a valuable historical building. Fortunately, we have no victims, but there are three people who sought medical help. Firefighters are working now, because there was a big fire on the roof. The fire was contained. Nearby is a market where a lot of people were, — Ihor Terekhov told journalists.
The head of OVA Oleg Synegubov noted that part of the “Shakheds”, who were on their way to Kharkiv, were shot down. According to him, one drone hit the administrative building of one of the educational institutions, as a result of which the roof and one floor were destroyed. There are no victims inside, only people who were on the street were injured, and their condition is assessed as light.
“Today’s shelling of Kharkiv is another manifestation of Russian terror against our civilian population. The blow was struck just in the middle of the day, not far from the city center. Four people were injured: three women aged 51, 52 and 54 and an 89-year-old man. All are in a light condition. Fortunately, no one died, Oleg Sinegubov clarified.
