The Russian army struck a residential two-story building in Kryvyi Rih with a ballistic missile, as a result of which six people were injured, including a 15-year-old girl. About this reported in the State Emergency Service.
According to Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, the victims include a teenage girl, three men aged 38, 49 and 75, as well as two women aged 30 and 82. Two people – a 38-year-old man and a 15-year-old girl – were rescued from the rubble by the joint efforts of the patrol police and rescuers. Three victims with moderate injuries are currently in the hospital, and they are receiving the necessary medical assistance.
“All of them are of moderate severity. There are many affected high-rise buildings and the private sector around. The headquarters for helping people will already be deployed at the nearest school (locals understand where it is). Help with construction materials, utility crews, applications for material assistance from the city. We are now transporting patients to the nearest hospital, in which all the windows are broken, in others”, the message says.
The attack happened the previous evening. The rocket hit a residential building. As a result of the impact, the two-story building was partially destroyed, and the windows of the neighboring ten-story building were damaged.
“As a result of the impact, a residential building was destroyed, multi-storey residential buildings, residential buildings of the private sector, a hospital, a social institution, about 20 cars – at least 20 houses were damaged. The consequences are still being determined. All operative and communal services were involved on the site. The work was being carried out all night. There is light, water, and gas in the area of the impact. From the affected hospital, in which everyone was knocked out as a result of the impact windows, transportation of patients to other hospitals of the city was organized,” – said Vilkul.
