The largest boiler house in Lozova, Kharkiv region, was left without power due to Russian attacks

The Russians damaged the largest boiler house in the Lozovaya region, leaving almost 16,000 customers without heat. The city also experienced serious water supply disruptions.

The attack damaged critical infrastructure, including the city’s largest boiler house and water supply system. Due to the shelling, the boiler house was de-energized, and it stopped working, leaving about 16 thousand subscribers without heat supply.

“Due to the shelling, the largest boiler house in Lozovaya, which provides heat to almost 16 thousand subscribers, was de-energized”, – reported Mayor Serhiy Zelensky.

According to him, the city is experiencing sub-zero temperatures, so all services are working in an intensified mode to maintain the system and prevent even greater heat losses. The mayor also called on residents not to interfere with internal networks without consulting the utilities. «

In addition to the heat supply, other critical infrastructure facilities were also damaged, which caused water disruptions. Municipal services and energy workers are working on the ground, trying to restore the water supply.

“The city authorities are preparing additional solutions to stabilize the situation”, – emphasized Serhiy Zelensky, adding that the details are not disclosed for reasons of safety of residents and infrastructure.
