Russia launches airstrikes on Kharkiv’s Industrial District, casualties reported
On October 24, a series of explosions were heard in Kharkiv. According to preliminary data, Russian troops launched strikes with guided aerial bombs (CAB) on the Industrial District of the city. At least six people are currently known to have been injured. This was reported by the city’s mayor, Igor Terekhov.
“One hit hit a car depot, damaging more than 20 vehicles. The second hit a civilian enterprise. Three people were injured, one person was hospitalized. There may be more people under the rubble. The fire is being extinguished, the report says.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synegubov specified that all the “arrivals” occurred in the Industrial District of the city.
“Currently, there are 6 victims of the enemy strike on the Industrial District of Kharkiv. Among them is a 69-year-old woman who suffered an acute stress reaction. Medical teams are on site and providing all necessary assistance,” — Oleg Synegubov noted.
During the day, five settlements in the Kharkiv region came under enemy fire. Russian troops actively used various types of weapons, including guided aerial bombs, “Geran-2” drones, and “Lancet” drones.
As a result of the strikes, civilian infrastructure was damaged: in the Lozovsky district, destruction of power grids in the city of Lozova and damage to railway infrastructure in the village of Nove were recorded.
