Russia strikes Kharkiv with two FPV drones launched from a “Molniya” drone
On October 25, Kharkiv was subjected to another air attack by the Russian military. At about 5:10 p.m., explosions were heard in the city – two FPV attack drones were struck in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv. The carrier for these drones was an unmanned aerial vehicle of the “Molniya” type.
As a result of the attack, five people sought medical attention with an acute stress reaction (a 25-year-old man, a 51-year-old and 68-year-old woman, and boys aged 13 and 15). This was reported by the mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov.
According to the mayor, one of the FPV drones hit the roof of a private residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district. As a result, the roof was damaged and the windows were broken. The second drone hit the facade of a building in the same district, causing partial destruction.
The unmanned aerial vehicle itself, which was the carrier – “Molniya”, fell on the roof of a dormitory in the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv. The warhead of the drone separated and fell next to the building. Bomb disposal experts, rescuers, and representatives of public utilities worked at the scene.
Recovery work is underway at the sites of the strikes, and experts are examining damaged buildings. Law enforcement agencies are documenting the consequences of the Russian shelling in order to record another crime against the civilian population of Kharkiv.
