Russian Federation attacks a multi-storey building in Kyiv with Shahed: a girl is killed
On the evening of October 25, Russian troops struck Kiev again, using Iranian-made Shahed kamikaze drones. One of the drones hit a multi-storey residential building in the Solomyansk district, which led to the tragic death of a minor girl born in 2009. About the incident reported Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klychko, noting that the apartments from the 17th to the 21st floor were damaged, and the fire that broke out after the impact has already been extinguished.
The mayor also specified that five people were injured as a result of the attack. Four of them received medical assistance on the spot, one more person was hospitalized. In addition, a mobile tent was set up for the residents of the building, where they provide the necessary assistance to the injured.
From the apartment on the 20th floor, rescuers evacuated two people who were transferred to an ambulance, and more than 100 residents of the building were taken to fresh air. Four victims sought medical help on their own. As reported National Police, many people have an acute stress reaction after an attack.
According to the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the deceased was a 14-year-old girl who was in one of the apartments where the fire broke out. Law enforcement authorities have already started criminal proceedings for violating the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
