The number of victims in Zaporizhzhia after Russian strikes has increased to 113 people

“113 injured, 10 of them in serious condition – these are the consequences of yesterday’s Russian attack on Zaporozhye. Thirteen people died. Medical aid was provided to 113 victims, including a 13-year-old child. Currently, 59 people are hospitalized, 10 of them are in serious condition.”, says the message.

The attack took place on January 8 at around 3:40 p.m., after which the enemy struck again after 4:00 p.m. In total, 13 people died, more than 113 were injured. The wounded, including those who remained on the streets after the explosions, were urgently hospitalized in hospitals of the regional center. Seven medical teams, police and rescuers worked at the scene of the tragedy.
For information According to the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor’s Office, high-rise buildings, an industrial facility and other city infrastructure were destroyed. Debris hit a tram and a minibus with passengers, cars parked nearby were also damaged.
“Under the procedural leadership of the prosecutors of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation was started in criminal proceedings on the fact of committing a war crime that caused the death of people (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)”. – noted in the regional prosecutor’s office.

“The Russians attacked Zaporizhzhia with aerial bombs. It was a deliberate attack on the city. As of now, dozens of wounded people are known. Everyone is receiving the necessary help. Unfortunately, 13 people are known to have been killed. My condolences to the relatives and friends. Unfortunately, the number of victims may increase. None nothing more cruel than aerial bombing of a city, knowing that ordinary civilians will suffer”.
