Russian troops advance in Kamianske, Zaporizhia: DeepState

Russian troops have advanced within the boundaries of the village of Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region and are trying to gain a foothold on the right bank of the Yanchekrak River. About this reported Ruslan Mykula, co-founder of the DeepState analytical project.

“This is an advance both in the area of the school and in the western part – in the area of Plavniv. The Russian army has been accumulating forces in recent weeks, the Russians have increased drone activity. They were fighting on logistics, on the ways of approach. And now the enemy is trying to take the settlement under complete control.” Mykula said.

According to the spokesman of the Southern Defense Forces, Vladyslav Voloshin, the Russian troops are unable to hold on to the captured areas. The battle line continues along Janchekrak. At the same time, the capture of Kamiansky could open the way for the enemy in the direction of Zaporizhzhia.

“Actually, today there is not a single surviving building, not even a single surviving wall. Therefore, to say that there are any positions there is an exaggeration. The defense forces are certainly not standing in those positions where everything is destroyed – we are moving to one flank, to the other, deep into the defense. The Russian Federation is trying to enter the right bank of the Yanchekrak River by rafts. However, the Russians have nowhere to hold on, so they cannot take positions can” Voloshyn noted.

Currently, the Russian army is conducting active assaults in Kamiansk and is trying to force Yanchekrak. The enemy carries out several attacks every day, involving aviation and artillery.
