Russian troops continue to increase their personnel in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, and are setting up logistics for further advancement into the city. The city of Myrnograd is under threat, reports the DeepState monitoring project.
It is noted that the enemy is being detected and defeated almost throughout the entire territory of Pokrovsk, while the occupiers continue to advance and equip positions in the captured areas.
“There is a gradual absorption, where the Russians already control the area, equip positions, have places to accumulate and control their logistics for infiltration into the city“, – the project reported.
According to DeepState, fighting is ongoing in the area between Pokrovsk and Hryshyn for control of key supply routes that determine the possibility of holding the city. At the same time, attempts are being made to clear and eliminate the enemy, but this does not solve the main problem – blocking the Russians on the southern outskirts to prevent their further advance into the city.
“Given that the Katsap are already setting up positions there and taking control of the area, this opportunity is essentially lost”, – DeepState points out.
Analysts also warn that Mirnograd is under threat:
“The situation remains critical. And if in the context of Pokrovsk we are talking about the absorption of the city, then Myrnograd is simply cut off from the “outside” world and its loss will be the most regrettable among all the large cities, because it will be taken, even without properly establishing itself there”.
