Russian troops carried out an airstrike on the Slavyansk TPP, killing two people. This was reported by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his evening video address.
“Just now, a few hours ago, there was an attack on the Slavyansk TPP – a strike by Russian bombs. Unfortunately, two people died. My condolences. There are wounded. And this is exclusively terror. Normal people do not fight like this, and there should be an appropriate world reaction to such a Russian war”, – the head of state said.
The president also reported on Ukraine’s energy agreements with Norway:
“This is support for our gas purchases, there are agreements with Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and we are working with them on equipment for electricity generation”.
In addition, Zelensky stressed that Ukraine is counting on the support of the European Commission:
“Today, the Minister of Energy of Ukraine met with representatives of the Group of Seven, with the G7 energy ministers. And these are countries that can definitely support and will support Ukraine. We are ensuring such work with them”.
