SAP filed a lawsuit to the court to declare assets worth more than 3.2 million hryvnias used by the head of the State Customs Service Zvyagintsev as unsubstantiated
The specialized anti-corruption prosecutor’s office applied to the court with a lawsuit to declare assets worth more than 3.2 million hryvnias, which are used by the current head of the State Customs Service, as unfounded. The prosecutor’s office did not name the suspect, however, according to the information of the Central Committee, it is Serhiy Zvyagintsev.
At the beginning of 2025, he was informed of the suspicion of non-declaration of property – a residential building in Ivankovychy near Kyiv with an area of 236.8 square meters. m and the land plot on which it is located.
The investigation claims that Zvyagintsev registered real estate for his wife’s father, although he and his family are the actual owners. Currently, the house and the plot of land can be confiscated, and the High Anti-Corruption Court has seized them to secure the lawsuit.
Actions of an official are qualified under Part 1 of Art. 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — submission of false information in the declaration. This article provides for a fine of up to UAH 85,000, community service or restriction of freedom for up to two years, as well as a possible ban on holding positions for up to three years.
The state is represented in court in this case by prosecutors of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.
