SAPO filed a petition with the court to change the measure of restraint for the ex-head of the State Fiscal Service Nasirov
Prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office submitted petition to change the preventive measure for the former head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, Roman Nasirov, to the court. It is about the application of detention with the alternative of making bail in the amount of 75 million hryvnias.
“The prosecutor of the SAP sent to the court a request to change the preventive measure to the former head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, who was accused of abuse of office, which caused serious consequences. The prosecutor insists on changing the preventive measure to a more severe one, namely detention with the alternative of bail in the amount of UAH 75 million.” – says the message of the SAP.
The prosecutor’s office reminds that the former head of the Federal Tax Service and the head of one of its departments are accused of committing a crime, provided for in part. 2 Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — abuse of official position, which caused serious consequences.
The prosecution insists that during 2015-2016, Roman Nasirov, acting in the interests of the People’s Deputy of Ukraine of the 8th convocation, personally made a number of illegal and unsubstantiated decisions on granting installments for the payment of tax debt and obligations to three companies: “Firma” Khas LLC, “Karpatnadrainvest” LLC, and “Nadra Geocenter” LLC.
These decisions were made in violation of the current procedure, without proper justification and legal grounds, which led to the non-payment of over 2 billion hryvnias of mandatory payments to the state budget.
On April 9, 2025, the accused did not appear in court. His lawyer filed a motion to stop the proceedings in the case, referring to the mobilization of his client.
“We draw your attention to the fact that the specified case is at the final stage of consideration – court debates, after which the court must issue a verdict. However, the mobilization of one of the accused will lead to a delay in the case, as a result, he may avoid responsibility.”, — note in SAP.
