Some Ukrainians will receive a one-time cash benefit upon retirement in 2025 in the amount equal to 10 of their monthly pensions. This kind of support provided for employees of the education sector in accordance with the provisions of the Law of Ukraine “On Pension Security” and the Law “On Mandatory State Pension Insurance”.
One-time assistance in the amount of ten times the pension is granted to persons who:
- retired by age;
- held positions giving the right to a pension for years of service.
A mandatory condition for receiving such a payment is full insurance experience: at least 35 years for men and at least 30 years for women.
Employees of the following establishments are entitled to assistance:
- preschool and after-school institutions;
- educational and production interschool centers;
- higher educational institutions of I-II levels of accreditation and vocational and technical schools;
- secondary schools, military lyceums, music and art schools;
- orphanages, speech therapy and specialized boarding schools, educational colonies.
Such a payment is provided after the end of employment. Assistance is provided only to those pensioners who did not receive any other pension before its appointment.
