State Department suspends non-military aid to Ukraine for 85 days: Reuters

The US State Department has issued an order temporarily halting all current foreign aid and suspending new projects in accordance with President Donald Trump’s decision. The USAID agency, which is responsible for providing non-military aid to other countries, has been instructed to stop the implementation of projects related to Ukraine. About this informs Reuters
USAID employees working on Ukrainian programs have been ordered to stop all activities. Initiatives such as support for schools and projects in the field of health care, including emergency care for mothers and vaccination of children, have been frozen.
In 85 days, Secretary of State Marco Rubio will deliver a report to Donald Trump outlining which foreign aid programs should continue and which should be ended.
USAID (United States Agency for International Development) is an independent government agency that provides non-military aid to other countries. In Ukraine, the agency supports economic development, democracy and governance, energy security, health care, and social initiatives. Since 1992, USAID has provided technical and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 1.7 billion dollars.
