Svyrydenko submitted a list of ministerial candidates to the Verkhovna Rada

The new head of government, Yulia Svyridenko, submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a list of candidates for ministerial positions, which reported People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

Some of the current ministers will retain their positions, among them:

  • Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine — Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba;
  • Minister of Youth and Sports Matviy Bidny;
  • Minister of Veteran Affairs Natalia Kalmykova;
  • Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko;
  • Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovyi;
  • Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko;
  • Minister of Finance Serhiy Marchenko.

Among the new personnel solutions:

  • Mykhailo Fedorov will remain at the head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, but his candidacy has been nominated for the post of First Deputy Prime Minister;
  • The Ministry of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration may be headed by Taras Kachka, Deputy Minister of Economy;
  • former Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko is proposed to be appointed Minister of Justice;
  • instead of him, the Ministry of Energy can be headed by Svitlana Grynchuk, who previously headed the Ministry of Environmental Protection;
  • Oleksiy Sobolev, the first deputy of Yulia Svyridenko, was proposed to head the Ministry of Economy;
  • First Deputy Minister of Finance Denys Ulyutin may head the Ministry of Social Policy.

It will be recalled that on July 16, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky proposed the candidacy of Denys Shmyhal, who resigned from the post of Prime Minister, for the post of Minister of Defense. Herman Smetanin is to become the new head of Ukroboronprom.
