TeraWulf plans to open a new data center for cryptocurrency mining
TeraWulf co-founder Nazar Khan said that the company is preparing to launch a new Bitcoin mining platform. It will be a 2MW WULF Den data center using modern liquid-cooled equipment. In addition, the company plans to open another Bitcoin mining center with a capacity of 20 MW by the end of 2024.
Khan also emphasized that TeraWulf seeks to establish partnerships with leading technology companies from the so-called “Magnificent Seven”. These companies include such giants as Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet, Meta, Nvidia and other important players in the market. According to him, TeraWulf is already negotiating with several representatives of this sector. The goal is to attract a client and a partner who will be able to use 100 to 200 MW of capacity, which will provide both parties with the opportunity to develop on a common platform.
At the same time, the entrepreneur does not rule out that companies working in the field of artificial intelligence may be interested in cooperation with TeraWulf. Many experts are of the opinion that such a partnership between Bitcoin miners and start-ups specializing in AI technologies has great prospects. By assessments investment company VanEck, such cooperation could bring cryptocurrency miners up to $14 billion a year.
In addition, it recently became known that Bitfarms acquired its competitor Stronghold Digital Mining for $175 million.
