The Accounting Chamber has begun an audit of the process of supplying drones to the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Accounting Chamber has started an audit on the topic “Procurement of unmanned systems”, the purpose of which is to study the process of acquiring UAVs for defense needs. About this reported press office found.
The audit covers the entire procurement chain — from the planning stage to the conclusion of contracts, as well as monitoring their implementation. The audit will analyze how the process is organized in the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff and the Defense Procurement Agency. The report based on the results of the inspection is planned to be published in November 2025.
“It is expected that the results of this audit will provide an opportunity to identify deficiencies in procurement planning and provide recommendations for eliminating the causes of delays in the supply of unmanned systems. This will ultimately contribute to ensuring the urgent needs of the military in timely and high-quality provision of unmanned systems.” – noted in the Accounting Chamber.
We will remind you that on August 5, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a number of separate meetings with representatives of the military command and government officials, as well as a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Staff. He ordered a significant increase in direct funding to brigades for the purchase of drones for the Armed Forces.
