The Ministry of Defense announced a new format for issuing subpoenas: what will change

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is preparing for implementation a new format for automating the process of issuing subpoenas. About this told Head of the Department of Information Technologies of the Ministry of Defense Oleg Berestovy during the DOU podcast.

According to him, the current system of serving summonses is outdated and inefficient, as summonses are printed, signed manually and handed over to heads of territorial procurement centers (TCCs) for signature and distribution.

“This is not effective at all. That is why we have now created a functionality so that it is possible to generate it (a summons) to Oberizi, sign it with the electronic signature of the head of the TCC, and not even print it directly in the TCC”, – explained Berestovy.

Such an approach will not only increase the transparency of the process, but also provide the military-political leadership with more accurate and up-to-date information on the delivery of summonses. The new format provides that the summons will be printed centrally and sent out through Ukrposhta, which will ensure full control over its delivery.

“We will have information on where this subpoena is located. It was delivered, not delivered, lost somewhere, how long it took to deliver.”, – said Berestovy.

In addition, the new system will allow checking the validity of the summons through the “Reserve+” application. Users will be able to scan the QR code on the summons to verify its electronic signature and confirm its authenticity.
