Ukrainian forces advanced southwest of Bilogorivka near Siversk, while Russian forces achieved some success in the west of the same area. In Toretsk, the Defense Forces consolidated their positions, which, according to ISW, forced the Russians to redeploy units of the 8th Army in order to stabilize the front.
At the same time, Russian troops intensified their offensive and were able to advance in the Kupyansk region and near Pokrovsk. According to ISW, the recent advance of the Russian army also took place in the Kursk region.
Geolocation information indicates the movement of Russian forces to the southwest of Guevo, which is located south of Suzhi. Fighting continues near the settlements of Hornal and Oleshnya. Ukrainian troops carried out a successful attack with HIMARS anti-aircraft missiles on the command post of the 30th motorized rifle regiment of the Russian Federation in Guevo.
In addition, a MiG-29 fighter of the Air Force of Ukraine attacked the positions of the occupiers in the Tetkino region with the help of AASM Hammer aerial bombs, and Ukrainian drones hit the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile complex in the Kursk region. On April 14, Russian forces tried to attack in the Sumy region, but failed. Unsuccessful counterattacks by the Ukrainian side were recorded in the Vodolaga village area.
In the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops attacked Vovchansk and Vovchansk Khutory, but were repulsed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the fighting, several units of the enemy’s armored vehicles were destroyed. The occupiers were able to advance to the northwest of Stepova Novoselivka. Instead of heavy machinery, they started using motorcycles and buggies. The Ukrainian military strikes the enemy’s rear, restraining the advance.

A slight advance of the Russian army was also recorded in Lysivka. The main battles are taking place in the districts of Tarasivka, Elizavetivka, Novotoretsky, Udachny and a number of other settlements. The Russians use mostly small infantry groups of 2-5 people, avoiding heavy equipment due to the efficient operation of Ukrainian drones.
