The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled more than 60 assaults by the Russian army near Pokrovsk
During the past 24 hours, 209 combat clashes took place at the front. The most tense situation remains in the Pokrovsky direction, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled more than 60 assaults by the Russian army. About this it is said in the building of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
“The enemy carried out 78 airstrikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, dropped 124 guided bombs. In addition, it launched more than 5,200 attacks, 108 of them from rocket salvo systems, and engaged 3,135 kamikaze drones for destruction.”, says the message.
The enemy concentrated airstrikes, in particular, on the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. Kozatske, Novopil, Novozlatopil, Olhivske, Gulyaipole, Pryutne, Primorske, Biloghirya, Chumatske and Lviv came under fire.
Ukrainian defense forces responded to the actions of the aggressor: aviation, missile forces and artillery struck 19 areas of concentration of enemy manpower and equipment, four artillery systems and two command posts.
The hottest direction remains Pokrovsky — Ukrainian soldiers stopped 66 assaults by Russians in the areas of dozens of settlements. 34 enemy attacks were recorded in the Novopavlovsk direction. 23 attacks were repelled in Toretsk, Diliivka, Rusyny Yar and other settlements.
Active hostilities also continued in the Lymansk direction – 22 attacks, in the Kupyansk – 9, in the Kramatorsk – 7, in the Siversk – 4, in the Gulyaipilsk and Prydniprovsk – one each. The enemy attacked four times in the Orihiv direction.
In the Kharkiv Region, the enemy tried to advance in the Vovchansk region. In the Kursk direction, 27 combat clashes took place, 18 airstrikes were carried out using 34 guided bombs, 225 artillery strikes were carried out, including five from rocket salvo systems.
