The Armed Forces received American artillery shells and are repelling the Russian offensive in the Kharkiv region
The Ukrainian military on the front line received long-awaited reinforcements – artillery shells from the USA. These munitions are already actively used to repel the Russian offensive in the north of the Kharkiv region, in particular near Vovchansk.
Correspondent Reuters, who visited the front line, talked with Ukrainian artillerymen of the 92nd separate assault brigade. They said that earlier they experienced an acute shortage of ammunition, which made it much more difficult to carry out combat missions.
“We had no shells there. Here, at least, we have shells, they have started to be delivered. We have something to work with, to fight for“, howitzer gunner Pavlo said.
According to him, the Russian infantry continues to advance around the clock, but thanks to American ammunition, the Ukrainian military is able to effectively repel attacks and inflict losses on the enemy.
Artillerists hope that the supply of shells will be stable, since the northern direction of Kharkiv region is strategically important.
“If we can demonstrate now that we are capable of stopping a large-scale enemy attack on Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region in such an extreme situation, then the enemy will not even dare to think about attacking Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy or Poltava regions.”, – emphasized the serviceman.
