The Cabinet of Ministers additionally directed more than 2 billion hryvnias to the project “Army of Drones Bonus”
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to support the proposal of the Ministry of Defense to redirect the remaining funds of the special state budget fund of the Ministry for Strategic Industries in the amount of 2,050 UAH 028,309,000 to increase financing of the project “Army of drones Bonus”.
The source of funding was the remnants of part of the “military tax” — personal income tax from the financial support of military personnel, police officers, and members of the rank and file, which remained unused by the Ministry of Strategic Industries as of January 1, 2025. These funds will be directed to the specific goals provided by the project “Bonus Drone Army”, which will ensure more efficient use of the state budget for the defense of the country.
Project “ Army of Drones Bonus” provides for the creation of a system of motivation and accumulation of points for military units for verified defeats of enemy targets, also known as “e-points”. As part of this program, the military gets the opportunity to order Ukrainian-made unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and electronic warfare equipment (EWM) through the Brave1 Market platform for accumulated points. Equipment is obtained using the DOT-Chain Defense digital system, which ensures transparency, control and efficiency of the entire process.
We remind you that the initiative “ Army of Drones Bonus” aimed at increasing the motivation of personnel and stimulating the active use of modern technologies in the fight against the enemy. Thanks to this project, the Ukrainian military will be able to receive the latest means for carrying out combat tasks, as well as have access to high-tech equipment necessary for the successful conduct of hostilities and the protection of the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
