The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a new mechanism for working with frontline regions
Frontline regions remain one of the government’s priority areas. The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a new mechanism for working with these territories, reported Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.
According to her, activities in this direction should be systematic, since nine oblasts belong to the frontline regions.
“We are activating the work of the Coordination Center on issues of managing regions on the territory of which hostilities are being or have been conducted and are temporarily occupied by Russia”, Svyridenko noted.
At the meeting of the government, a mechanism was adopted, which provides for the appointment of deputies in each ministry and central executive body, responsible for the policy regarding the frontline territories. This decision applies to all ministries, as well as the State Intelligence Service, the State Inspection of Nuclear Regulation, the NKREC and the State Property Fund.
“Life in the frontline territories continues, and people live and work there in special conditions. We have to take this into account in all state policy,” the Prime Minister stressed.
Svyridenko added that the government is working together to support people in the frontline regions and develop new opportunities for them.
