The Cabinet of Ministers appointed three members of the NCRECP

The Cabinet of Ministers appointed Serhiy Pushkar, Lyubomir Salovsky and Roman Shikerynets as members of the National Commission for State Regulation in the Energy and Utilities Sectors (NKREKP). Relevant orders published on the government portal.

The appointment took place based on the results of the competition for a period of six years. At the end of July, the competitive commission for the selection of candidates for the position of a member of the National Committee of the National People’s Committee of Ukraine submitted proposals to the Cabinet of Ministers to fill three vacant positions. There were four candidates on the list: Roman Shikerynets, Maksym Nemchynov, Lubomyr Salovsky and Serhiy Pushkar.

All of them, according to the results of the competitive selection, received the highest points and passed a special inspection. In particular, the head of the group of interaction with counterparties of the dispatching department of JSC “Ukrgazvydobuvannya” According to the results of two interviews, Roman Shikerynets scored 36.4 points. Maksym Nemchynov, former Deputy Minister of Energy and Vice President of the Energy Club, received 33.8 points. The head of the dispatching department of “Ukrtransgaz” Lyubomyr Salovsky – 30.4 points, and Serhiy Pushkar, the executive director of NAEK “Energoatom”, former head of the legal department of the State Property Fund – 30 points.

We would like to remind you that as of July 1, 2025, only four members out of seven remained in the NCRECP: Chairman Yuriy Vlasenko, as well as Kostyantyn Uschapovskyi, Oleksandr Formagey and Ruslan Slobodian. Four members of the regulator are the minimum necessary number for decision-making.
