The Cabinet of Ministers has additionally allocated 570 million hryvnias for “Zelensky’s thousand”
The Cabinet of Ministers decided on the additional allocation of 570 million hryvnias from the reserve fund of the state budget to finance the “Winter is Support” program. These funds will provide payments to all those who applied by February 28 but have not yet received funds, informs press service of the Ministry of Economy.
“During the three winter months, 14.4 million citizens used the program, 12.7 million of them have already received payments. Despite the end of accepting applications, payments continue and will continue until all applications are processed.” — explained Deputy Minister of Economy Andrii Telyupa.
We will remind you that on February 28, the acceptance of applications for payments under the “Winter is Support” program ended. 14.4 million citizens took advantage of the opportunity to receive 1,000 hryvnias of assistance. 12 million Ukrainians received help through “Diya”, 577 thousand – through partner banks, 130 thousand – through “Ukrposhta”.
“Payments are still ongoing. All applications submitted by the end of the day on February 28 will be processed. You can use the funds until the end of 2025”, – noted the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – the Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyridenko.
