The Cabinet of Ministers has banned sending persons with disabilities to military medical facilities

On February 14, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision according to which persons with disabilities will no longer be sent to the military medical commission for a medical examination. About this reported permanent representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk.
“Amendments have been made to the Procedure for issuing (creating) and issuing a military registration document for conscripts, conscripts and reservists and to the Procedure for implementing an experimental project on automatic verification and verification of information about conscripts, conscripts and reservists”. – the message says.
From now on, the Unified State Register of Conscripts will contain information about the presence of a disability. It will be possible to obtain it through an electronic request through the personal account of a conscript, conscript or reservist, with subsequent display of these data in the military registration document in electronic form.
If information about disability is confirmed in the register, such persons will not be subject to referral for military medical examination. Instead of submitting original documents, it is allowed to submit copies of medical reports on the disability of a child under 18 years of age. Such copies can be certified by social security agencies, health care institutions, the Pension Fund of Ukraine or notarized.
Other documents confirming disability can also be submitted in the form of copies with the signature of the person who submits them, provided that the originals are presented.
