The Cabinet of Ministers has established uniform rules for the payment of pensions
The Cabinet of Ministers introduced uniform rules for the payment of pensions for all citizens of Ukraine, regardless of where they are – in Ukraine, in the temporarily occupied territories or abroad. About this informs press service of the Ministry of Social Policy.
It is noted that previously separate conditions for receiving pensions applied to people who had a certificate of IDPs until February 24, 2022, left abroad after that date, or live on the TOT. This created difficulties in receiving payments.
“From now on, such pensioners can receive their pensions to the account of any bank of Ukraine, not only Oschadbank, as was the case before.” – says the message.
In addition, it is determined that pensioners who are temporarily abroad or on the TOT must undergo physical identification once a year – by December 31. If pensioners live in the TOT and have not been identified for six months, they are obliged to make at least one financial transaction from their account every six months.
Such rules were introduced to confirm that a pensioner who is outside the territory controlled by Ukraine is alive and personally receiving pension payments, the ministry explained.
The Ministry of Social Policy also reminded that the payment of pensions to persons on the TOT or to those who left it is carried out only on condition of confirmation of the fact of non-receipt of a pension from the Russian Federation. To do this, you need to submit an application to the Pension Fund of Ukraine in an arbitrary form about not receiving a pension from the Russian Federation.
