The Cabinet of Ministers has left in force the requirement for cash registers for individual entrepreneurs of the 1st group

The Cabinet of Ministers has left in force the requirement for the mandatory use of payment transaction registrars (PRO/PRRO) for entrepreneurs working on the first group of the simplified taxation system. This was reported by Danylo Getmantsev, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, in his Telegram channel.

“Received the position of the executive branch of government on postponing the mandatory installation of payment terminals for individual entrepreneurs of the 1st group from January 1, 2026. The Ministry of Economy considers the postponement inexpedient. I do not accept and do not share this position, I believe that the Ministry of Economy does not take into account the real conditions in which small entrepreneurs work today, ” – the deputy wrote.

He noted that we are talking about entrepreneurs who conduct small trade, do not use complex tax schemes and do not engage in aggressive business optimization.

“For many individual entrepreneurs of the 1st group, entrepreneurial activity during the war is ensuring their own existence. There are only 14 days left until the requirements for the use of payment terminals by individual entrepreneurs of the 1st group come into effect. I demand that the deadlines for the mandatory introduction of terminals for the smallest individual entrepreneurs be postponed at least until the end of the war!!! I personally addressed the Prime Minister, Hetmantsev concluded.
