The Cabinet of Ministers has terminated the work of the working group that was responsible for housing in dormitories

The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to liquidate the working group that was engaged in solving the problems of dormitory residents. This was reported by the government representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.
The working group, established in 2010, was intended to analyze the problems of dormitory residents, in particular in terms of the implementation of the right to housing, to find ways to solve them, and to develop proposals for regulatory legal acts. The group’s responsibilities included preparing recommendations on initiatives by public organizations, trade unions, and self-organization bodies of the population, if they were engaged in supporting people in dormitories.
In addition, the government liquidated a number of other advisory and auxiliary bodies, including the Council on the Innovative Model of the Construction Complex, the National Council on Associations of Co-Owners of Apartment Buildings, the Interdepartmental Commission on Cross-Border Cooperation, working groups on housing and communal services and Ukraine’s membership in the Council of Europe Development Bank, as well as the Operational Headquarters for the Provision of Building Materials for the Restoration of Damaged Facilities.
