Men aged 18 to 60 are required to have a military registration document with them when visiting the border strip. About it in your Telegram channel reported permanent representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.

According to the amendments to the law “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding Certain Issues of Military Service, Mobilization, and Military Registration”, men aged 18 to 60, during mobilization and martial law, must carry a military registration card document. These documents can be both in paper and electronic form.

During the war with Russia, the government repeatedly tightened restrictions on visiting the border zone. In particular, this summer the State Border Service of Ukraine (SPSU) strengthened border protection in mountainous areas and in popular tourist areas of Chernivtsi and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. This includes increased control measures and additional patrols to ensure security and prevent illegal border crossings.

Restrictions on visits to the border zone with Moldova have also been introduced to prevent possible violations and ensure effective control of movement in these regions.
