The Cabinet of Ministers launched a competition for the development of the “Dobra” lithium deposit.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine announced the start of the competition for concluding an agreement on the distribution of production at the “Dobra” lithium deposit. in the Kirovohrad region, reported Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.
“An important decision was made for the development of the mineral sector and attracting investments to Ukraine. Competition on the site “ Dobra”. We are starting a competition for the conclusion of an agreement on the distribution of products in the Kirovohrad region. The site contains significant reserves of lithium, which is of strategic importance for energy and technology, Svyridenko said.
She clarified that the government expects the arrival of an investor who will ensure not only mining, but also the development of value-added industries directly in Ukraine.
“The next steps: publication of the announcement within two months, three months for receiving applications, then – determination of the winner”, added the head of the government.
