The Cabinet of Ministers simplified the procedure for the restoration of cultural heritage objects destroyed as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution that simplifies the procedure for restoring damage to objects of cultural heritage destroyed or damaged as a result of armed aggression of Russia.
From now on, certificates of the “E-Recovery” program will also apply to housing located in architectural monuments. The procedure for obtaining permits and approvals through the Unified State Electronic System in the field of construction has also been simplified. This applies both to new objects and to the performance of works directly at the sights.
“For the first time, owners of housing in historic buildings will have the opportunity to use the “E-Renovation” program. Less bureaucracy, optimized processes. We are reducing time and procedures in order to speed up the real restoration of our cultural heritage,” stressed the acting director. Tetyana Berezhna, Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine.
We remind you that on September 10, the government also adopted a resolution that facilitates the procedure for obtaining permits and approvals for works within the boundaries of cultural heritage monuments and their protection zones. From now on, the customer submits a request for approval of project or scientific project documentation or for obtaining a permit to the relevant body for the protection of cultural heritage through an electronic cabinet in the Electronic system.
The body for the protection of cultural heritage shall, within 30 calendar days from the date of the application, provide written approval, a reasoned refusal, or information that the project or scientific project documentation is not subject to approval in accordance with the requirements of the legislation in the field of cultural heritage protection and urban planning legislation, by uploading a letter with a qualified electronic signature of an authorized person of the body to the Electronic System.
