The Central Military Commission has begun to cancel illegal conclusions on unfitness for military service issued in the Dnipropetrovsk region

According to the materials of the State Bureau of Investigation, the Central Military Medical Commission has begun the process of annulling illegal conclusions on unfitness for military service issued in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The first falsified decisions made on the basis of fake medical documents have already been annulled. In July of this year, SBI employees exposed a criminal scheme involving one of the heads of the district military medical commission of the Dnipropetrovsk region and a former employee of a local hospital.
The criminals were looking for people who sought to avoid mobilization and offered them to purchase fictitious health certificates. The cost of such “services” ranged from 5 to 20 thousand US dollars, depending on the financial capabilities of the conscript, his real state of health and the complexity of the fictitious diagnosis. On the basis of forged documents, conscripts were declared unfit for service. In this way, at least 60 people managed to avoid mobilization.
As part of the investigation, the State Bureau of Investigation appealed to the Central Military Commission with the initiative to review all conclusions made on the basis of falsified certificates. At the moment, the decision on the unfitness of the first two people has already been canceled, and the verification of the rest is ongoing.
The State Bureau emphasizes: paying large sums for fictitious medical documents does not guarantee exemption from service. All illegal decisions on “unfitness” will be canceled, and the funds spent will not be refunded. Anyone who uses such schemes will be personally liable in accordance with the law.
