The channel of illegal transportation of foreigners across the state border has been exposed: the Prosecutor General’s Office

Under the procedural guidance of the General Prosecutor’s Office, four citizens were notified of suspicion of facilitating the illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine (Part 3, Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). About this informs Office of the Prosecutor General.

According to the investigation, a resident of the Odesa region, together with her daughter and roommate, participated in the activities of the channel of illegal migration, through which foreigners illegally entered Ukraine. She also involved one of her previous “clients” in the scheme, whom she had previously helped to cross the border illegally.

The suspects looked for those willing to leave, gave them instructions and coordinated their actions. They issued entry permits based on forged documents, using fictitious invitations to work in shell companies. The cost of such a “service” was 3 thousand US dollars.

During authorized searches of the places of residence of the accused, law enforcement officers seized foreign passports of foreign citizens, forged documents, mobile phones, bank cards, stamps and other evidence of involvement in the crime.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the National Police Service of Ukraine. According to Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and confirmed by a court verdict.
