The chief of staff of “Azov” Krotevich received a response from the SBI to the complaint against General Sodol: details
The chief of staff of the 12th special forces brigade “Azov” Bohdan Krotevych (call sign “Tavr”) received a response from the State Bureau of Investigation regarding his letter with a call to open proceedings against an unnamed military general. Although Krotevych did not reveal the name of the general, the next day after his statement, the commander of the United Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Sodol, was dismissed.

Krotevych expressed dissatisfaction with the DBI’s response and stated that the lawyers will handle further actions. He also urged the military not to be afraid to testify, in particular in private, and promised not to back down from this case.
The headquarters of “Azov” announced: “We will not retreat.”
The military did not provide other details about the contents of the letter.
We will remind that on June 23, Krotevych called on the SBI to open proceedings against one of the military generals. The name was not mentioned, the UP stated with reference to its sources that it is about Lieutenant General Sodol.
On June 24, President Zelensky decided to replace the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sodol with Brigadier General Andriy Hnatov. The general, in particular, is accused of careless treatment of personnel, which leads to casualties among the military.
