The Court of Appeal allowed the Poroshenkos to divide their joint property

The Vinnytsia Court of Appeal granted the claim of Maryna Poroshenko and allowed the division of property that is in the joint ownership of the spouses. This is stated in the relevant court ruling.

The plaintiff’s representative, lawyer Kristina Mysenko, filed an appeal against the decision of the Vinnytsia City Court, which previously refused to divide the spouses’ property. The Court of Appeals upheld this appeal and ruled to “divide the property belonging to the spouses by right of joint joint ownership.

In March 2025, it became known that Maryna Poroshenko wants to divide the property with her husband through the court. The value of their joint assets is 17,102,703,811 hryvnias 40 kopecks. European Solidarity explained that this lawsuit is a “joint tactic to protect” the family from sanctions imposed by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

In court, Maryna Poroshenko stated that due to the sanctions imposed on her husband, she is deprived of the opportunity to “exercise her right of ownership of property” that belongs to them as spouses under the right of joint ownership. That is why she is asking the court to divide the property.

The Kryzhopil District Court of Vinnytsia Oblast has closed the proceedings in this case several times.
