The director of the Museum of the History of Ukraine decided not to return to his homeland after the exhibition in Lithuania

People’s deputy Solomiya Bobrovska (“The Voice”) turned to to the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications with a demand to clarify the situation regarding the departure abroad of the director of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine, Fedor Androschuk, who did not return to Ukraine after his business trip.

The deputy noted that Androschuk’s business trip ended on September 20.

“Apparently, he used his other citizenships as intended (why he has them at all is another question), went on a business trip to Italy and Sweden, and according to the answer to my parliamentary appeal, got lost at the opening of an exhibition in Lithuania “, she informed.

Bobrovska emphasized the importance of immediate management decisions regarding this situation. She reminded that the National Museum of the History of Ukraine is one of the most important museums in the country, where about 800,000 exhibits are stored, reflecting the entire history of Ukrainian statehood — from Trypilly to independence.

“The National Museum of the History of Ukraine is one of our most iconic museums with 800,000 exhibits, the history of the entire formation of us as a state, from Trypyllia-Scythians to independence. And the fact that Androschuk still heads the Museum of History is a shame, to say the least.” – says the message.
