The Dnipropetrovsk CCC commented on the incident with a man in a coma
The Dnipropetrovsk Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support responded to a journalist’s inquiry regarding Dnipro resident Serhiy Kustodeyev, who is currently in a coma. According to his wife Valentina, the man fell into this state after being pushed by a TCC employee.
The response states that on March 25, 2026, TCC representatives found Kustodeyev on Nauky Avenue in Dnipro. They introduced themselves and offered to show him his military registration document, after which the man began to run away.
“Having run around the construction site, Sergey Kustodeev ran out in the area of the Yuvileyny store and, without any contact with the authorized representatives of the CCC, lost his balance and fell, hitting his head on the asphalt. Only after that did authorized representatives of the CCC catch up with him and offer help. We note that the ambulance was called precisely on the initiative of the CCC representative before Sergey Kustodeev’s health condition significantly worsened,” the regional recruitment center said.
The CCC also stated that the incident occurred in the presence of random eyewitnesses. In addition, the investigators were given video recordings from portable video recorders of representatives of the CCC and the SP, which, according to the territorial center, confirm the stated circumstances.
The response also noted that the information that Kustodeev allegedly did not violate the rules of military registration is not true.
“Conscripted citizen Kustodeev was previously registered in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine and, in violation of parts 3, 4 of Article 37 of the Law of Ukraine “On Military Duty and Military Service”, after arriving at his new place of residence, did not register for military registration within the established period… In addition, he did not use the right to a deferral and there is no information in the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Conscripts and Reservists about his recognition as unfit for military service. health for military service”, — stated in the response.
The regional CCC did not provide more details about the circumstances of the incident, explaining this by the fact that a pre-trial investigation is underway. All materials on this fact were transferred to the investigation.
