The DOT of the Ministry of Defense announced the purchase of sets of personal hygiene products

The “State rear operator” of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the purchase of personal hygiene kits for wounded servicemen within the framework of the “Wounded Pack” program. This initiative is designed to provide defenders with everything they need during their stay in medical facilities.

Three procurements with a total expected value of over UAH 37 million were announced. Men’s sets (48,000 sets) and women’s sets (2,000 sets) are planned to be purchased separately.

“By the end of this year, the military will receive the first sets of personal hygiene products. The division of sets into men’s and women’s allows to take into account the individual needs of patients in medical facilities. Currently, we are purchasing what is really needed in the first days after the injury”, – emphasized Mykyta Chichkan, director of the tangible property program of the DOT.

Supply is provided to medical institutions in various regions that provide assistance to wounded soldiers. The first shipments are planned for the IV quarter of 2025.

Let us remind you that at the end of June, DOT already purchased the first element of the package – adaptive clothing for servicemen of all Defense Forces. The next component was hygiene kits, which will be delivered to the wounded through the system of medical institutions.
