The EU court fined Hungary 200 million euros: Orban wants those who help Ukraine to pay

Hungary is reacting to the EU fine by imposing a special tax aimed at compensating for damages that the EU has imposed in connection with violations in migrant affairs.
He writes about it Bloomberg.
Prime Minister Viktor Orban justifies this step in response to the fact that, in his opinion, the European Union is trying to reduce the number of “white people” in Europe by facilitating migration processes.
During an official visit to Berlin, Orbán announced plans to raise funds through a special levy on “speculators” who, he believes, benefit from migration flows or finance conflicts, including the war in Ukraine. The Hungarian authorities are already working on the relevant legislative package.
The EU fined Hungary 200 million euros for systematic violation of asylum rules and additional amounts for ignoring the decisions of the European Court. The country has been accused of mistreating migrants, including building barbed-wire fences on its borders with Serbia and Croatia and closing transit zones for asylum seekers.
Orbán confirmed his position that Hungarian politics should protect cultural identities in Europe, refusing to support mass migration flows, which, in his opinion, could threaten the social and economic stability of the country and the region.
