The first university in the United States integrated ChatGPT into all its systems
California State University (CSU) has provided access to an educationally customized version of ChatGPT to more than 500,000 staff and students. This is currently the largest adoption of artificial intelligence among organizations in the world, informs OpenAI press office.
The university system will use ChatGPT on 23 campuses, allowing 460,000 students to integrate artificial intelligence into the learning process, and 63,000 faculty and staff to streamline administrative tasks, freeing up more time for teaching and research.
Thanks to AI, the university plans to develop educational programs, personalize subjects and adapt educational materials to the needs of students.
Higher education institutions around the world, including Harvard and Oxford, are actively implementing artificial intelligence in their activities. However, CSU became the first university to extend this practice to the entire education system.
