The General Staff confirmed the impressions of the Afipsky Refinery in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation
Fighters of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, together with the Forces of Unmanned Systems, struck the Afip oil refinery located in the Krasnodar region of Russia. About this reported General Staff of the Armed Forces.
“The Afip Oil Refinery in the Krasnodar Territory has been damaged. The annual volume of its processing is 6.25 million tons per year, which is 2.1% of the total volume of oil refining in the Russian Federation. As a result of the UAV hitting the technological installation for the processing of gas and gas condensate, the fire engulfed it”, the message says.
The operation was carried out by intelligence units and the Forces of Unmanned Systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, Ukrainian defenders attacked other important enemy targets – the results of these strikes are still being clarified.
“Strikes on the military infrastructure of the enemy will continue until the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine is completely stopped. The defense forces systematically use all the means provided by law to stop the criminal actions of the Kremlin regime aimed at the destruction of the Ukrainian people.” – emphasized in the General Staff.
At the same time, Russian media reported a large-scale fire at the Afip refinery after a drone attack. In addition, there was a fire on the territory of a military unit in Sloviansk-na-Kuban, as well as recorded damage to the railway infrastructure in the Volgograd region.
