The General Staff reported 213 clashes per day: the Russian Federation attacked the Pokrovsky direction the most.
Over the past day, 213 combat clashes took place on the front. Russian troops were most active in the Pokrovsky direction, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 33 attacks. This is reported in the operational summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 08:00 on June 21.
According to the General Staff, during the day the Russian army carried out one missile strike using two missiles, as well as 85 air strikes, dropping 267 guided bombs. In addition, the Russians used 10,489 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,030 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and settlements.
In Sumy Oblast, the Tovstodubovoye and Sumy districts were hit by airstrikes.
The largest number of attacks was recorded in the Pokrovsky direction. There, the Defense Forces stopped 33 Russian assaults in the areas of Novomykolaivka, Hryshyn, Bilytsky, Kucherovy Yar, Shakhovy, Novopavlivka, Filia, Vilny, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Kotlyny, Udachny, Toretsky, Dorozhny, Rodynsky, Novohlishyn, Gulevy, Mirny and Sergiivka.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, Russian troops twice tried to advance in the areas of Piddubny and Ternovo.
In the Hulyaipil direction, the invaders carried out 23 attacks near Tsvitkivka, Verkhnya Tersa, Novoselivka, Dobropillya, Rybny, Gulyaipilsky, Zaliznychny, Girky, Vozdvizhivka, Olenokostyantynivka and Charivne.
In the Lyman direction, the Ukrainian military recorded 21 attacks in the areas of Druzhelyubivka, Yampol, Shyykivka, Olhivka, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Derylovye and Lyman.
In the Slavyansk direction, the Russians carried out 14 attacks, in Kostyantynivke – 11, in Yuzhno-Slobozhanske – 10.
In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian troops attacked three times in the direction of Kivsharivka, Kupyansk-Vuzlovye and Novoplatonivka.
In the Orikhivke direction, the Defense Forces stopped two attempts by the Russians to advance in the Kamyansk and Stepnohirsk areas.
No active enemy actions were recorded in the Dnieper direction.
No signs of the formation of offensive groups of Russian troops were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit 18 areas of concentration of Russian troops and one artillery system.
The total losses of Russia over the past day amounted to 1,290 military personnel. The Defense Forces also destroyed or neutralized eight tanks, ten armored combat vehicles, 93 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, two air defense systems, eight ground robotic complexes, 2,346 drones, 475 vehicles and two special equipment.
