The government dismissed the head of the State Water Transport Service

The Cabinet of Ministers decided to dismiss Yevgeny Ignatenko from the position of head of the State Service of Sea and Inland Water Transport and Shipping of Ukraine. About this reported representative of the government in the parliament, Taras Melnychuk.
“The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dismissed Yevgeny Oleksandrovich Ignatenko from the position of the head of the State Service of Sea and Inland Water Transport and Shipping of Ukraine”, – the message says.
Ignatenko headed the State Service of Maritime and Inland Water Transport and Shipping from December 2022. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2017, he worked in shipping companies, working his way up from a sailor to a tugboat captain, and also held management positions in the Ukrainian shipping company “Nibulon”, where he was deputy director of shipping safety and director.
Mykola Kravchuk, who currently holds the position of first deputy head of the State Service, will temporarily perform the duties of the head of the department. From 2011 to 2023, he held management positions at enterprises, in particular, from 2022 to 2023, he was the deputy director and first deputy director of KP “Kyivblagoustrii”. Since May 2023, he has been elected to the position of the head of the Obukhiv district state administration of the Kyiv region.
