The government has digitized military documents

A new mechanism for issuing military registration documents has been launched in Ukraine – from now on they are issued only in digital format. Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced these changes, emphasizing that the electronic reserve ID has been designated as the basic document for conscripts, those liable for military service, and reservists. It can be obtained through the “Reserve+” application.

Svyrydenko emphasized that “switching to an electronic document reduces the risks of loss or forgery and simplifies military registration processes.” At the same time, for those who cannot always use the digital version, they left the option of a paper copy: they can either print it out themselves after downloading the PDF in “Rezerv+” or on the “Diya” portal, or they can get it from the CCC and SP – where the document is generated electronically and a paper version is issued.

The Ministry of Defense noted that the changes introduced by the government – are part of the transition to a “modern and transparent” military accounting system, which should enhance the efficiency of defense processes.
