Work on a similar simplification of the procedure for importers is currently ongoing.
Ukrainian exporters will be able to submit documents and receive licenses electronically. The Ministry of Economy adopted relevant changes to the procedure for licensing the export of goods as part of the deregulation reform, informs press service of the department. Work on a similar simplification of the procedure for importers is still ongoing.
In the first six months of this year, exports amounted to $19.5 billion, physical volumes increased by 35% and amounted to 71 million tons.
The main advantages of the innovation:
- Simplifying the process: the government has reduced the number of documents required to apply for a license, simplifying the process of obtaining permits.
- Electronic form: changes to the order “On the procedure for licensing the export of goods” provide for the submission of documents and obtaining a license in electronic form. At the same time, entrepreneurs can submit documents in paper form if they wish.
- Updated forms: changes to the order include updated license application forms, the license form, instructions for filling them out, and provisions on the licensing procedure.
- The process of obtaining a license: to obtain licenses for the export of goods from Ukraine, entrepreneurs who have chosen the electronic form of document submission must go to the “Foreign Economic Activity” section on the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services. In his own electronic cabinet on the web portal, the entrepreneur must submit a package of necessary documents in electronic form. After consideration of the documents within the established terms, and in case of a positive decision, the license will appear in electronic form in the applicant’s office.
- Paper format: you can also submit documents in paper form and get a response by email. For this, at the stage of submitting documents, the entrepreneur must provide an email address and indicate that he wants to receive a reply in this way.
- Free delivery: during martial law, licenses for export and import of goods are issued free of charge. A letter of application regarding the issuance of a license does not require the addition of a guarantee of payment of the state fee for its issuance.
