The Cabinet of Ministers updated the rules for booking military personnel. For enterprises with the status of critical, the government canceled the 72-hour period allocated for checking lists submitted for reservation.
The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture explained that this should speed up decision-making and help businesses operate more stably:
“Now decisions are made faster, which helps to promptly protect personnel and maintain uninterrupted work”.
Another change concerns the defense-industrial complex: defense-industrial complex enterprises have been given the opportunity to reserve employees for 45 calendar days in cases where they have violations of military registration rules. This period is allocated to eliminate such violations, and, as the ministry emphasizes, the innovation will allow companies not to lose specialists during the settlement of formal procedures.
The norms will come into effect from the moment of the official publication of the government resolution. At the end of November, the European Business Association asked the government to simplify and improve rebooking for critical enterprises – the current changes partially respond to these requests.
